Using 3D for training
One of the reasons that I went back to school and got my BA in motion graphics and visual effects was work that I did in a 3D program called Poser 8.
I thought that I could use Poser to make training videos. One of my ideas was to use Poser with old videos of master that are no longer alive, videos in black and white, and create a 3D animation of that person doing the form then I could use that 3D animation and get different views of that person. The problem with Poser 8, that has now been fixed, was that the 3D person foot would sometimes pass throw the floor.
I know more about how to do animation and can do motion capture using a kinect Sensor from Xbox and 3D programs to make my animations.
This is the animation that I did with poser 8 that I did about 4 years ago.
